As compressed air plays a very important role in the normal operation of CMMs, the maintenance and repair of the air circuit is very important. Among them are the following main projects:

1. Before daily use, check the pipes and filters, and drain the water and oil from the filter and the air compressor or air storage tank.

2. Generally, the filter elements of the random filter and prefilter should be cleaned within 3 months. The cycle of poor air quality should be shortened. Because the filter element itself is also contaminated and blocked by oil while filtering oil and water, a slightly longer time will reduce the actual working pressure of the CMM, affecting its normal operation. Be sure to regularly clean the filter element. It is recommended to replace the filter element at least once a year.

3. Regularly inspect the filter pressure reducing valve and the standard resin cup of the oil mist filter for cracks and other defects, as well as contamination.

4. When cleaning the filter element and resin cup of the oil mist filter, please use neutral detergent. When using steam for cleaning, please do not spray it directly on it.

5. Before carrying out maintenance, be sure to cut off the power supply and stop the air supply.
